What is USB-C Power-Delivery (PD)?
USB-PD is a fast charging technology supported by the latest iOS/Apple and Android/Google devices that deliver much higher levels of power than standard charging. See below how Cove 60 can power your latest devices.
How It Works:
USB-PD charging port intuitively detects the connected device to deliver the right amount of power to charge that device as fast as possible. This ensures fast charging without exceeding the required power needed, which could result in damaged circuitry. Cove 60W Series has 72 watts of USB-C Power, 3 Amps, 20 Volts and 12 watts of USB-A Power.
Higher Wattage = Less Charging Time
Watts = Amps x Volts
How Much Power Does Your Device Need?
- Laptops typically require 29-100W of power
- Tablets typically require 10-30W of power
- Smart-phones typically require 10-27W of power
Example: If you plug a 25W PD-enabled device
into Cove 60 - 72W USB-PD port, your connected
device will be supplied the entire 25W to quickly
replenish battery supply.

Optional Convenience Outlets
Take advantage of convenience outlets available on select models of the
ACT-CoVe that offer users access to power beneath the work surface.
Convenience outlets are perfect for stationary accessories like lamps,
computers, or monitors which do not need to be accessed often allowing
more room to plug in temporary devices like laptops, tablets, and mobile
phones above the work surface where they are more easily accessible.

The Clamp mounting method requires no tools, and is best suited for installations where the back of the unit is easily accessible. The clamp mount works well for desks, benches, tables and case goods. The ACT-CoVe is fastened to the furniture from the rear by tightening the thumbscrews.
