The patented Kwik-Shelf shelving system is the key to the space-saving efficiency and improved productivity provided by Mayline sorters
- All shelves lock in place and won't pull out when retrieving mail.
- Shelves can be removed for easy height adjustment on 1/2" increments.
- All shelves have centered thumb cut for quick one-handed retrieval of mail.
- Front edge of shelves has a 45 degree beveled labeling flange for easy reading of labels and allows mail from pocket below to pass under above shelf without hanging up.
- Heavy-duty, 20-gauge shelves with V-groove hold up to 75 lbs. per pocket.
- Note: Kwik-Shelf system not compatible with shelves shipped prior to October 1995.

- Assess the volume and size of your mail. Then determine the size and
number of pockets you'll need, considering each pocket's height, shelf
width and shelf depth.
- Select one of our empty sorters and configure it with the
shelves sized from step 1. Try to use (but not exceed) the full interior
space of each sorter. Specify shelf supports (one less than the number of
columns of shelves) and shelves as shown on this page.
