The Agility of the Center Deck
The Center Deck is the agile and reconfigurable landing zone for infills. Infills are set in flush to the worksurface when installed acting like an extension of the desktop. Infills may be set in place unattached or secured from below (monitor clamping to infill). The underside of all infills has brass threaded inserts to allow for repeat fastening with screws (metal-to-metal attachment). Infills are sized in 30î, 45î, 60î, 75î and 90î modules. We also have 15î and 30" blank infills without openings for unique modularity needs. There are three primary types of Infills: Flats, Palettes and Screens. Infills are sized alike and may be combined along the deck.
Tonic's Power: Open and Always Accessible
TodayÍs teams demand power wherever and whenever needed. Tonic provides 4-8 outlets per user and power is always at the ends of an infill (as shown above). Power can be exposed or hidden for facility purposes. When hidden, power is accessed from under the table through openings provided in the trough. Four outlets are visible to each user and the interior of the trough is powder finished in white or black. Edges of the access openings are banded 1.5mm edging. Power may be hidden below for facility use. Specify the 8 outlet version to offer visible and/or hidden power.
Privacy
Tonic has three primary screen types: the center screen is part of the infill system and available in 2 heights, a side mounting screen is either user or facility-located, and the personal screen with pencil tray is user located. Screens are contoured to fit along the A-frame leg and sit on the seam of the surfaces, but they can be deployed anywhere along the surface for division. A steel internal frame keeps the fully tackable screens rigid and strong. Tonic Side Screen has a bracket for permanent mounting to the bench. Using the side screen as a divider, a 90î surface may be subdivided into 2 positions for dense hoteling.
Simple Tables to Ignite Innovation
Tonic is a large bench table, but it is also a collection of small meeting tables that celebrate innovation. With a clamp-on video conferencing module, a table can be turned into an active hub. Circular innovation tables may be specified with flush-mounted rotating whiteboard centers that inject a sense of collaboration into brainstorming. Table sizes range from 48î square and round up to 4Í x 8Í in a single surface. Power module drop-inÍs are available in 4 and 6 port variety. A magnetic wire drop cover adheres to inside of the legs or users may opt to use the vertebra drop also used on the bench.
